She was born almost 22 years ago, in July 2, 1986 in the Woodlawn
section of the Bronx. Lindsay was the eldest child of Donata, a
former Rockette, a great dance band and a onetime actor, Michael
Douglas Lohan Sr. She probably got her talent from them and at the
early age of three she started a career in modeling working with
Ford Models.
She hasn’t found a lot of work but she appeared on more than 100
prints for Toys R Us. Later she tried to start a career in
television but her first auditions didn’t go well and she wanted to
quit once but she was accepted in the end for a Duncan Hines
commercial. After that she had more and more offers and she appeared
in over 60 commercials and this led her to roles in soap operas.
Young Lindsay was becoming more and more popular and the age of 10
she got a role in Another World where she delivered more dialogue
than any other 10 year old in any serial. From then her acting
skills were revealed to everyone and a lot of people knew that
Lindsay is going to be really successful in the future. An year
later she quit this serial to play in her first motion picture. Here
she played a dual role of two estranged twin sisters that try to get
their divorced parents back together. The movie was called The
Parent Trap and it was really successful worldwide, bringing about
$92 million. A lot of people considered Lohan the soul of this film
and some even compared her with Sharon Stone at her early age.
After this great success in 1998, Lindsay finished her school and
hasn’t received any major roles until 2003 when she got the main
role in a movie called Freaky Friday. This got Lindsay in everyone’s
eyes and in 2005 the movie had earned $160 million worldwide.
Everyone wanted to hire Lindsay after her great success with Freaky
Friday and she began to play in more and more movies. In 2004 she
played in 2 movies, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and Mean
Girls. The first one wasn’t too successful and it was a failure to
critics but the second one was pretty great. Her great lead
performance pushed the movie to earn $128 millions worldwide. In
2005, she played in her best selling movie, Herbie: Fully Reloaded.
This movie was the most successful movie she played and was a great
box-office success with over $144 millions earned.
Another part that we must know about Lindsay is her musical career.
She’s not only a good actress, but she’s got skills to sing too. In
2004 she launched her first album called Speak and next year she
launched a new one called A little more personal.
In these last years, the young Lindsay grew and became sexier each
day. The next movies she played weren’t too successful but there are
a lot of movies to come and we might never know when she’ll get a
role that will amaze everyone. Lohan was voted #10 on the list of
Hot 100 Women in FHM and in 2007 she was placed #1 on the Maxim “Hot
100” Women. Lately she had small behaviour problems that affected in
a slight way her career but in 2008 she’s ready to impress us all.
